The Menahga Public School District consists of traditional schools under one roof along with an alternative learning center and early learning programming. The building is a Pre-K through grade 12 facility with classrooms, maker spaces, commons, gymnasiums, and two libraries.
The facility now houses just under 1000 students school-wide within the elementary and high school. The buildings are connected, making a unique community of students working together to achieve their academic goals. Many of our older students work as teacher’s assistants to help the younger students, creating a beneficial learning environment for all.
We offer several communication tools to maintain a dialogue at your convenience; e-mail, Infinite Campus, Instant Alert systems, Seesaw, voice mail and for the fun side of school, visit and “like” our Facebook page.
Menahga focuses on the importance of educating our youth with a well-rounded curriculum to provide them with the life-long skills needed in today’s changing world and for their future. As society changes, we adjust our curriculum to meet the needs of students moving forward in their lives. Our district maintains a secure fund which allows us to keep classroom sizes small and maintain both core educational programs and co-curricular activities at little or no cost to our families.

Thank you for visiting our website. My name is Jay Kjos. I am the Superintendent of Menahga School District which is 210 square miles of some of the most beautiful landscape you can find. Our school is full of around 1000 students and 150 staff who work side by side to make learning fun. The Menahga community shows great support toward the school and our buildings are a prime example of the support from our partners in and around town.
