What is Catalyst?

Menahga Staff use the Catalyst Approach to focus on the empowerment of students to view themselves as leaders with a responsibility to learn and grow while purposefully contributing to a culture where everyone is a catalyst to developing relationships and disrupting inequity.

What is PBIS?

Menahga Staff also focuses on setting expectations based on the PBIS (Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports) framework for creating safe, positive, equitable schools, where every student can feel valued, connected to the school community and supported by caring adults.

Welcome to Menahga Elementary School,

My name is Lisa Parrish, and I am the Menahga Elementary Principal. We are so glad you are here!

At our school we strive to be a place where students feel safe, welcomed, and are highly engaged in their learning.

We value each child for their uniqueness, and work to develop their individual talents while growing their knowledge in all core educational areas.

We value our partnerships with families, and look forward to collaborating with you to make sure that the school year is a successful one for ALL of our young learners.

It is going to be a wonderful year. Go, Braves!
