Dear Students and Parents/Guardians,
Are you interested in earning college credit while still in high school? We will be offering information about eCHS (eCampus in the High School), CIHS (College in the High School), and PSEO (Postsecondary Enrollment Options)for the Spring 2027 semester.
Students in grades 10–12 and their parents/guardians who are interested in any of these opportunities are invited to attend one of the following information sessions on Wednesday, October 7:
- 2:00 p.m.
- 7:00 p.m.
Please plan to attend one of the two sessions.
Important: NOSR Form Meeting
Attendance at one of these meetings is mandatory for students who plan to participate in PSEO. The Notice of Student Registration (NOSR) form must be completed in person with the student and school representative. The NOSR is required for each semester of PSEO enrollment.
For students planning to take PSEO courses in Spring 2027, the Minnesota Department of Education deadline for notifying the school of intent to enroll is October 30, 2026.
General Eligibility/GPA Information
Eligibility requirements vary by program, college, and course. As a general guideline:
- 10th grade: PSEO eligibility is generally limited to one Career and Technical Education (CTE) course initially and requires qualifying reading proficiency.
- 11th grade: Many colleges require approximately a 3.2 cumulative high school GPA.
- 12th grade: Many colleges require approximately a 2.8 cumulative high school GPA.
- Individual colleges and specific courses may have additional requirements, so students should attend the meeting to learn about the options available to them.
During the meeting, we will discuss the differences between eCHS, CIHS, and PSEO, eligibility requirements, course options, registration procedures, deadlines, and how college courses can fit into a student’s high school schedule and graduation requirements.
If you are considering taking a college-level course during Spring 2027, please make plans to attend one of the October 7 sessions.
