  Do you want to learn the important components of how to design a successful deer hunting property? Do you want to see more mature bucks on your property? If you answered YES, please attend the Menahga Community Ed. course on April 11th on developing your whitetail property into the most huntable whitetail habitat. In this session you will learn the three elements that guide buck movement and discover how to implement those into a working habitat designed to turn nighttime photos into DAYTIME encounters! When : April 11th 6:30 –8:00.

Menahga MakerSpace 2019

Welcome to the 1st Annual MakerSpace Community Event! We are pleased to bring this “hands-on learning” to our school. We hope you and your family enjoy this time together.  Please be patient with us as we are still learning what works and what doesn’t work. Tonight is made possible through a grant from Sourcewell and an ACP project. Our wish for all of you is you and your family will have a fun time together, and explore “hands on learning”.  Our goal is to make this a monthly or bimonthly event for our community to learn and explore as a families.

Cost: Free  (In the future there will be a small charge!)

Complete Program Cost for both Classroom & Behind the Wheel: $280
Cost for Classroom Only: $50 ($10 per hour for make-up max 3 hours)

Students are expected to complete 10 classes at 3 hours each for a total of 30 hours (If a student misses a class or an hour they will need to make it up on the make-up day at the cost of $10 per hour max of 3 hours). Minimum of 20 students required to offer the course and a max of 30. Students that are 14 years of age or older may sign up to take the course. Enrolled students will be given priority by age when signing up for the course. Make checks payable to Menahga Community Education.


Behind the Wheel

Cost for Behind the Wheel Only: $250

Students are expected to complete 6 hours of behind the wheel (6 hours driving and 6 hours observing) Students must have passed the permit test.


Classroom Dates Offered

June 2019

June: 10,11,12,13,14,15,17,18,19,20 and 21st as the make-up day. All classes are from 8:00 a.m.- 11:00am


July 2019

July: 22,23,24,25,26,27,29,30,31, Aug.1st, and Aug 2ndas the make-up day. All classes are form      8:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m.

August 2019

August: 5,6,7,8,9,10,12,13,14,15 and Aug.16 as the make-up day. All classes are from 8:00 a.m.- 11:00 a.m.
