Is your 7th hour class participating in the food drive?  Many classes have started bringing in food and money to be donated to the Menahga Food Shelf. The class that brings in the most will win an ice cream party on Friday. You have until Wednesday to bring in food.

The Penny Wars coin drive jars are in the high school office. The grade that wins penny wars will have two days in their hallway after lunch with dessert served by student council. The 10th graders have the most money in their jar!

Attention 7th and 8th grade Boys:  There is a sign-up sheet in the high school office for any 7th and 8th grade boys who are interested in playing junior high basketball.  The first practice is Monday, January 5th.  Make sure you are dressed and ready to go on Monday the 5th!  If you have any questions see Mr. Hahn.

Students, the High School Media Center will be closed during 4th period I.S. on Thursday, December 18th.  Please do not ask your teachers, paras, or subs for a pass to the media center during that period.

Worth repeating:

Mrs Klamm is looking for people interested in supervising the Community Ice Rink after school and weekends this winter.  Prefer applicants 18 years of age or older.  Stop in the district office for an application or contact Mrs Klamm with questions.

Juniors: Please stop in and start getting your appointments scheduled with Mr Sams as well. All juniors need to meet with him prior to the end of the first semester in the middle of January. There is a lot on information for you to start preparing for your post high school life and start getting the personal learning plan started. Your federal application for student financial aid income year starts in January and your research for funding post high school education should start at the same time.
